James Meara

James Meara is the lead designer and co-editor of The HAND Magazine as well as an MFA candidate with an emphasis in printmaking at the University of New Mexico. Creating work that searches for an underlying spiritual connectedness with the world through the use of found imagery, Meara re-appropriates sources to reveal new relationships and contexts. His work takes the form of collage, multilayered prints, and sculpture and has been shown both nationally and internationally.
